What is Finishing Powder?
No need to be confused over finishing powder – it has great advantages and is really easy to apply.
Firstly choose a powder for its properties – matte finishing powder is great for controlling shine – apply to your face using a large soft powder brush – the Lily Lolo Super Powder Brush is perfect, with matte finishing powder (aka setting powder) you can apply either before or after you apply concealer and foundation. The ingredient Kaolin is a clay mineral that has oil absorbing properties – giving a flawless and shine free finish or base to your makeup.
Silk effect finishing or setting powders are best applied after your foundation, concealer and blusher – they give a dewy finish, with a very slight shimmer. It’s great to give that supermodel look! Again this finishing powder is best applied all over the face (in a light dusting) with a Super Powder Brush.
How to apply Finishing Powder?
Flawless Matte has oil absorbing properties so can also be applied as a base before foundation. Use a Silk Finishing Powder for a natural dewy glow. With a hint of a tint – Flawless Silk is perfect for brightening a sallow skin-tone.
Step 1. Sprinkle a little Finishing Powder into the lid of your jar
